Run by Tom Watson - who joined the Landteam partnership in Autumn 2000, having resigned as head of the industrial department at King Sturge in Leeds - Landteam Northern has undertaken successful projects in South Leeds. capitalising on opportunities presented by the A1/M1 link. Co-developments involving retailers are contemplated in West Yorkshire and the Midlands. Landteam Northern is also involved in a non-food retail warehouse scheme in the West Midlands, and other joint ventures in the Leeds area.
Landteam Northern Limited was incorporated in August 2000 and in April 2002 purchased their first property, Medina Park, Stoneferry Road, Hull. Medina Park was purchased from Evans of Leeds and originally comprised 35,255 sq. ft of office and industrial accommodation producing £75,550 pa. Landteam have significantly refurbished the property, investing approximately £750,000 since acquisition to create a bona fide trade park. The property now comprises some 36,000 sq. ft. It is fully let and produces £179,402 pa and is currently valued in excess of £2.5 million. |
